بیانیهٔ هنرمندان، نویسندگان، دانشگاهیان و فعالان عدالت اجتماعی مستقل در همبستگی با اعتصابات کارگری سراسری در ایران
Statement from independent artists, authors, academics, and social justice activists in solidarity with the nationwide labor strikes in Iran
ما این بیانیه را مینویسم تا حمایت خود را از اعتصابات سرتاسری کارگران صنایع نفت، انرژی و پتروشیمی ایران و همچنین کارگران سایر واحدهای صنعتی و غیرصنعتی که به اعتصابات سراسری پیوسته اند، اعلام نماییم.
از روز ۱۹ ژوئن ۲۰۲۱، هزاران کارگر پالایشگاه ها، پتروشیمی ها و نیروگاه های برق ایران، در دفاع از حقوق پایه ای کار اعتصاب کردند و خواستار بهبود شرایط سخت زیست خود شدند. خواسته های آنها به شرح زیر است:
- برخی از کارگران قراردادی اعتصابی ماهها حقوق دریافت نکرده اند و پیمانکاران همچنان از پرداخت حقوق معوقه آنها خودداری می کنند. اعتصاب کنندگان خواهان بهبود شرایط کاری خود و خاتمه بخشیدن به اقدامات استثماری توسط پیمانکاران و پیمانکاران فرعی می باشند.
- مطالبات اعتصاب کنندگان خواسته های سایر کارگران سراسر کشور را نیز انعکاس میدهد. آنها خواهان آن هستند که دستمزد ماهانه حداقل ۱۲ میلیون تومان (معادل ۵۰۰ دلار) تعیین شود. آنها خواهان برسمیت شناختن حق تأسیس سازمانهای مستقل کارگری می باشند. آنها می خواهند به انحصار پیمانکاران در اتخاذ روشهای استخدامی و اخراج پایان دهند. آنها خواستار حق اعتراض و اعتصاب می باشند. آنها خواهان پرداخت حقوق های معوقه می باشند. آنها بهبود محیط کار غیرانسانی خود را مطالبه می کنند. و در آخر نیز آنها خواستار تأمین استانداردهای لازم بهداشتی، ایمنی و غیره در محل کار می باشند.
در بیانیه خود اعتصاب کنندگان در واقع آمده است:
“ما کارگران موقت و پیمانکار پالایشگاه های نفت و گاز، پروژه های پتروشیمی و نیروگاه ها، اعتراضات و اعتصابات خود را ادامه می دهیم تا مخالفت خود را با شرایط سخت و تحمل ناپذیر کار و اوضاع اقتصادی ابراز کنیم. ما به عدم پرداخت دستمزدمان و تداوم کاهش قدرت بازتولید نیروی کارمان و وعده های عملی نشده از سوی کارفرمایان، قویا اعتراض داریم. ما خواهان دستمزد بیشتر، امنیت اجتماعی مناسب و شرایط زیست بهتر می باشیم.”
ما امضاء کنندگان این بیانیه از مطالبات به حق اعتصاب کنندگان کاملا حمایت می کنیم. ما همچنین از کارگران، هنرمندان، نویسندگان، دانشگاهیان، فعالان، فمینیست ها، و هر انسان آزادیخواه و عدالت طلب در کانادا و سراسر جهان می خواهیم تا در حمایت از مطالبات کارگران ایرانی سخن بگویند. ما امیدواریم که آنها بدون هیچ خطری و فوری به خواسته های عادلانه و اساسی خود دست یابند.

در همبستگی با اعتصاب کارگری سرتاسری در ایران
We are writing to express our support for the nationwide strikes of workers in Iran’s oil, energy and petrochemical industries, as well as those in other industrial and non-industrial units who have joined the nationwide strikes.
Since June 19th, 2021, thousands of workers at Iranian refineries, petrochemical plants, and power stations have gone on strike to defend their basic labor rights and demand improvements to their difficult living conditions. Their demands are as follows:
– Some of the contract workers on strike have not been paid for months and the contractors continue to refuse to pay them. The strikers demand improvement to their working conditions and termination of exploitative practices by contractors and subcontractors.
– The strikers’ demands also reflect those of other workers from across the country. They ask that monthly wage be set at a minimum of 12 million tomans (~$500); they demand the right to establish independent labor organizations; they wish to put an end to the contractors’ monopoly over hiring and firing practices; they demand the right to protest and strike; they require timely reimbursement of due wages; they need improvements to their dehumanizing work environments; and finally, they call for establishing the necessary standards of health, safety and so on at workplaces.
Indeed, the strikers’ own statement reads:
“We, temporary and contract workers from the oil and gas refineries, petrochemical projects and power-plants, will continue our protests and strikes, in order to express our disapproval of our unbearably difficult working and economic conditions. We protest that our wages go unpaid, that our purchasing power to reproduce our labor continues to decline, and that the promises made to us by employers go unfulfilled. We demand higher wages, adequate social security, and better living conditions.”
We, the signatories of this statement, fully support the rightful demands of the strikers. We also call on workers, artists, authors, academics, activists, feminists, or any freedom and justice-loving human in Canada and around the world to speak out in support of the Iranian workers’ demands. We hope that they achieve their just and basic demands safely and immediately.”
