Schoolgirl Senzeni, 18, is in grade eight at school and has a daughter called Hannah who was three weeks old in September 2012. Senzeni lives with her mother and grandmother in Chipata in the Eastern Province of Zambia, where she grew up. She and her boyfriend intend to marry when they both finish school.
“My husband’s family say they will take the baby, so I can continue going to school in six months’ time. I’m looking forward to that. Many girls are not as fortunate as I have been. As girls here in Zambia, we need more much information about contraception.”
